My sister from Canada gave me lumia 610 I cannot use it right now because it is unlocked. can I request a free unlocked code? what will I do?

Not an issue in which Nokia involves itself as should contact Rogers over provision of NUK for one of their devices.

You need to contact the Operator with which the Phone is Locked. ONLY they can provide the Unlock code..Nokia can't ...
