At the time the phone vibrates the tray on which IMEI No. is provided also vibrates and produces a buzzing sound.

Buzzing sound goes off when we press the glass near the ear piece a little.

Please let me know whether it is a manufacturing defect and how can it be resolved or the handset is to be replaced.

The device is awesome and working fine apart from this issue. This sound clearly indicates that something is loose inside and it is vibrating with the phone's vibrator.

Are you referring to Lumia 900 or 920 here?

Lumia 920, many of the Lumia 920 Sets are reporting the same issue.

if you are sure that you have placed the SIM tray and SIM card correctly within the device, you wil need to take your phone back to your point of purchase, or if they are being less than helpful, to your local Nokia Care for inspection: http://nokia.com/support

I have given my set for replacement hope they replace it, as with this I have two more issues cropped us and they are well known in support discussions as i see,
Dust under front camera
Sensor not working properly.
