Hello,
Recently a friend of mine received a Nokia Lumia 920 with her contract. Around 5days after getting the phone her 2 year old son managed to submerge it in the sink with the washing up, making it unusable. The insurance nor the contract provider will cover the phone, and I thought it'd be worth a try to attempt to fix it. I have managed to completely dry out the phone, taking the battery out and replacing it incase. Now the video below shows what happens when the device is powered on. I know the LCD may be faulty, but aslong as I can get this phone into a working condition it's fine.

If you have any ideas for me to try, please do.
Regards,
Kissane

Dont think it is a display issue. Have you tried hard resetting it?

It a long one and you will lose everythng on the phone should you suceed but that shouldnt matter in this case.
Step 1
Make sure the charger is disconnected.
1. Switch the power Off.
2. Press and hold the Volume down and connect the charger, if succeed an exclamation mark (!) is shown on the screen.
(To exit press the Volume Down + Power Key and hold them for 10 seconds).
Step 2
Then input Keys in the following order:
1. Volume up
2. Volume down
3. Power
4. Volume down
Step 3
The phone will reset and boot up automatically.

Looks like its back to square one. Try the hard reset again. You may need to charge the battery first. Saw the low battery symbol at start of your video. I hope you understand the prognosis isn't great. Probably all kinds of hardwsre issues but worth a try when the is nothing to lose.
