Hi
I noticed recently when I was trying to transfer some files via USB to a PC, that the phone disconnected and died. Wich was odd, seeing as it was being charged by the USB. I couldn't switch it back on. Later I put it on charge and it worked fine again.
Then today, I did the same, except it was definitely fully charged this time from the wall charger. Was connected to Nokia PC suite trying to download and install Nokia MAPS, and it died. Now when I try to turn it on, the NOKIA logo comes up on a black screen for a minute or two and then vanishes. Nothing.
Tried charging it, plugging into USB. Will only let me turn on to see the log and then turns off. Normally I have the white video, with the two hands joinging and some music.
There is one odd thing though. Even when disconnected, the USB light keeps flashing
Any ideas?
I haven't dropped it. It just started doing this
Many thanks

Try rebooting the phone first to see if it restarts. You reboot by pressing and holding the power button until it vibrates.

If you were intending to copy map data to a memory card, have you tried removing it in case it has become corrupted and attempt to boot without it?

Could only suggest that you backup essential data and consider resetting device to "factory settings", as a precursor to taking device to Nokia Care facility for device software to be re-installed if this doesn't help at all.
