Hi ALL,

My nokia c6-01 is hanging since 1 month, I formatted and installed new OS and still it is hanging.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!

We would advise you to check what applications you have running on your phone and see if one of them specifically is causing your phone to hang. If the hanging occurs while the phone is not running any applications or it does not contain any additional applications, it may mean that there is a hardware issue. 

If the problem persists, please visit your local Nokia Care Point and let them have a look.

Hey, after upgrading my phone c6-01 to belle refresh.... i'm facing a lot of problems in web browser.

phone hangs when using web browser..... mostly when opening any flash site....or opening a new window.

problems with keyboard also in web... i have to click above where i actually want to click when keyboard is opened...

 90% times my phone hangs while browsing.... and after that we have only one option to remove and reinsert the batterey.... I have reinstalled my phone software using nokia suite but, problem persists. please provide us an update to fix this problem...

Hi! my nokia c6-01 is hanging everytime i open the gallery. also it takes to long to open the gallery. Every time i open it shows updating your gallery which takes long time.. I'm really frustated by this problem. Plz give me some solution.

Hi Danslife,

Have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your phone via Nokia Suite or on the phone itself? If there is, please update to the latest version offered. If there is none, try Restoring your phone to factory settings, and if that STILL doesn't work, perform a three-finger hard reset. If you are still having problems, then you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect.

 Thank you so much for the solution , can you please tell how to do three finger hard reset for nokia c6-01, because it is not having key pad,.... everytime i try to press 3 and * simultniously i am unable to do it, secondly as there is no keypad how to press hold 3 and * with phone switched off, please reply fast as otherwise i was thinking of formating my memory card. i also deleted all picturs from gallery, still problem persisits i am having 11 gb of my memory card still empty. I would be thankfull if you can successfully remove the problem. Thank you so much ..

Bear in mind that you may find some applications no longer work after carrying out this procedure and a visit to Nokia Care facility maybe required to restore device to "Out of box" state with latest software.

I have done three finger hard reset for my nokia c6-01.. everything is fine.. and phone is working to the best , speed have increased and no more hanging problems.. but one issue my gprs is not working, i have saved settings those were present inmy massege but phone showing 'connection failed' . i have requested many  atimes for setting to vodafone, also forwarded some requesting masseges, but only confirmation masseges , no setting messege is recieved, please help.

Hi thank you so much for the help almost sorted everything out. phone dont hang, battery life ncreased, gprs working. thank you so much you are just awesome. only one problem my image editor and photo editor are gone. any way to get them back without visiting the nokia care center?

and if i visit nokia care can they help. plz tell
