Transfering contacts from Nokia 6300 Sim to Nokia 100 Sim or Phone.

Hi there,

I want to transfer my contacts from my nokia 6300 sim card to my nokia 100 phone but it is not working, is this possible?

I dropped and smashed my old nokia 6300 so bought a nokia 100 and put my virgin sim in there as its unlocked. Phone is recieving calls and texts ok but can't seem to get my old contacts up off my Sim or transfer them to the new phone.

Is this possible?

Re: Transfering contacts from Nokia 6300 Sim to Nokia 100 Sim or Phone.

Hi! This is possible if the old contacts you have in your Nokia 6300 were saved to the SIM card. You can check this on your Nokia 100 by going to Contacts > Settings > Memory in use. By default, Phone is selected. Switch it to SIM card then check your Contacts. If the old contacts show up on your phone, this means the contacts were saved to the SIM card. If this is not the case, the old contacts were saved to the Phone memory of your Nokia 6300 then.

Having said that you dropped and smashed your 6300, is it working fine? I mean, can you still access the phone?

If yes and you can see anything on the screen, you can insert the SIM card you are using right now to that device and transfer the contacts from the Phone memory to the SIM card.

If no, I'm sorry to say there's no way of retrieving those old contacts and transfer them to your new phone.

Cheers.
