Re: Useful codes

What on earth makes you think that the moderator of a forum will know the password you put on your memory card?

Re: Useful codes

I wish there was a code to fix nokia n97 touch screen becoming unresponsive and another code that would enable the consumers to contact nokia and getting someone who knows what their talking about when it comes to their phones. and a code that would allow me to send my n97 in for repair which I payed $600 two weeks ago plus $30 overnight shipping and handling, just so I can be left without a phone for a week and a half. and a code that would allow nokia phone to support other languages, they say they can't do it but, on other phones like Sony Ericsson you simply reflash the software region that contains the languages you want and you get your supported languages you want and I did this myself with my computer on various sony ericsson. and nokia can't reflash their firm ware?  gee.. its like upgrading...me being a hardcore nokia fan I am severly wounded by this companies lameness.

Re: Useful codes

Nonsense. You just need to ensure that your message centre number is correct. Check with your network operator. They'll give you the number and explain how to check it on your phone.

Re: Useful codes

that is correct. the codes work on s60 platform mostly. the 3xxxxx phone is a s40 phone. no codes will work on it.

Re: Useful codes

Actually there are several S60 phones in the 3xxx series. Some that come to mind straight away are the 3230, 3250, 3660.

The "restore factory default settings" *#7780# does work on S40 phones. There are also a few more recent S40 phones that certainly allow a soft reset via the menu and might well accept *#7370#, but that has yet to be confirmed.

How can u ask someone here for an application unlock code  :smileyhappy:

Quickoffice application preinstalled in Nseries devices can only view office files and donot creates new or edit the existing one, editing and modifying it is available only for E-series devices

U have to purchase the software after which u will be sent the unlock code by Quickoffice or uninstall it from the device

Re: Please help me in quickoffice

There is no free way.  If you want it you have to pay for it.  Or you could sell your N79 and buy an E series model.

It's on a half price offer today on the official site:

Use the support link at the bottom of quickoffices website.

Quickoffice will not give you the code unless you buy the program from them.

Is your phone powering up normally and the display dead or is your phone dead altogether? Try dialling and making a call. If it does so then it is the display.

If it is the display, then you will have to bring it to your nearest Nokia Care Point to get it replaced.

You can find your nearest Nokia Care Point at:

For UK
http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4228006
For Europe:
http://europe.nokia.com/A4388379
For Asia-Pacific
http://www.nokia-asia.com/A4416070
Elsewhere:
http://www.nokia.com select your country, go to the support section, then select repair.

Re: Useful codes

Hi Michael

I have a Nokia 6120 classic phone with me. A long time ago, I set a securtity code for my phone but I didn't use the code to lock my phone. In the end, only now do I remember about the code. I am trying to re-format my phone due to some problems but I need the security code, in which I've forgotten! What should I do?
