Hello, i bought X3 and it has very annoying problem : the touch screen in sometimes unresponsive. No matter how carefully & slowly & strong & gently the touch screen is poked, it does not response. The screen flickers as indication that touching is somehow working but the interface is totally unusable ; it does not respond to the command I try to make.

But then, sometimes it works. I tried to bring the device back to nokia store, it has been unresponsive for the whole day, but then when was my turn in nokia shop the device started to work just like magic, and no surpsise the dealer did not try too much attention.

Calibrated? Yes. Did not help. I switched back to my previsous phone.

Anybody having similar problems? Did you have any solution?

I have a similar problem. No matter how I touch the screen, it remains unresponsive. Can't even answer the 'phone. I'm a gardener, so perhaps it doesn't like rough treatment that goes with my work. It's my third Nokia and the only one that I have had any problem with. Good thing I kept my old one.

We're sorry to hear you have been having a hardware issue with your Nokia. As you have been to a local Nokia Care point, we suggest you to create the issue when you are there to show the technicians that you are experiencing this problem. 

Also, does the screen become unresponsive on and off? or for long periods of time. Since the phone become responsive at the Care point, has it become unresponsive since then?

My touch screen is responsive but it will not light up, it lights up when i first turn the phone on then it goes blank does anyone have any ideas please.

Welcome to the Forum.

In order to fix this issue, I would advise you to perform a soft reset, enter *#7780# on your keypad, default code 12345.
