im using nokia 6120 classic

and i forgot my security number !!!

so what can i do ????

does the nokia  services fix it for free ?

but befor thinking about that

is there any solution that i can get my security number (by a software) or any othezr things ?

Hi Houssemania,

I'm afraid there is no way to retrieve your security code if you have forgotten it.

Its down to the fact that is a security function and would be useless if anyone could simply override it.

The only people who can reset this for you would be a Nokia Care point.

You will have to pay for the service, as it is not a warranty fault.

You will also need a proof of purchase to prove that the phone is not stolen.

If you live in the UK, you can find the nearest NCp to you at the Store Locator
Use the drop down list on the to find your country, and tick the "Nokia Care point" box.

Otherwise click here, select your country from the list, navigate to the support section and then onto the repair section to find out more details.

Alternatively, the 6120 classic being a S60v3FP1 device, updating its firmware should also have the effect of resetting the security code to 12345 (at least it did on my N95-1, which is also S60v3FP1).

Use NSU to see if there's an update available to you. If there is, apply it and your security code should be reset.

If there is no update you can always try a hard reset. That too might reset the security code. Turn the phone off, press the '3', '*' and green 'call' buttons, keep them pressed while switching the phone on and only release them when the phone displays the "handshake" logo or the region selection screen.

Note that both the software update and the hard reset will wipe your phone's memory clean, so do a backup first - either using PC/OVI Suite or to your memory card.

but the solution of 3*..... didnt work

because in nokia 6120 classic i have to press an other bottom on the top of the phone to open or to close it 

so when i tried to press 3 * ans green bottom  i didnt work and when  pushed the opening bottom also didnt work

any idea ?

One way is to try to reproduce the forgotten password of the phone.

Another way is just going to NOKIA CARE.

Facebook password can be recovered by clicking on forgot password in your N97 phone or your pc.

Where is your Question for which you want Reply ? If your problem is the same as SUBJECT line.. go to Nokia Care alongwith a proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice) and it will be reset to the Default 12345.

You may still go to Nokia Care and if they insist on the proof of ownership which you do not have..try your convincing power that you are the true owner of the phone..

No one can provide you code. ONLY solution is getting it Reset to the default 12345 thru' Nokia Care . A proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice) may be asked.
