i am in big trouble and need to be answered quickly plz ...

i have set lock code and forgot it ... and i choosed also to  lock device if sim card changed ... and now i need to change my sim card already  and i am asked also about the lock code....

i need to restore factory settings to original  so that i can use my nokia easily without any codes 

but when i choose to restore to factory settings .. also require lock code... i cant make any calls  and i am stopped working... plz help  urgently

The ONLY way you can get it reset to the Default 12345 is thru' Nokia Care.. A proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice) may be needed...Also note that in absense of a Back-up. you tend to lose all your data...

I have a nokia x2 and have never set any security code for it but keeps telling to enter a security code if i change the sim can any body help plsssssssss

If you have never changed the code, then its 12345 by default.

my nokia service center helped me update the software to my E7. In the process, he broke thru my set lock code. Now when I try to lock the screen, it ask me for lock code. I put in the lock code, it gives out an error message and after 5 failed tries, it blocks the screen for 5 minutes before I can open it again. Tried 12345 as well, it didnt work. Someone pls help

Did you inform Nokia Care about this ? They should be able to Reset it back to the default 12345.

You will have to contact them again to get to reset the code again for you.
