micro SD readout on XP computer?

I have (well, had) a E52 phone that doesn't work any longer. How do I retreive the pics from the microSD card on a XP computer? Thing is, I´ve put the microSD in an adapter, but the card doesn't emerge in the file manager or any of the logs that I have read. The phone error should have had nothing to do with the SD card (it was a main pwr switch thing) so there is no reason to believe that the microSD card is ruined.

You don't mention what capacity your microSDHC is, but guess you require this hotfix from Microsoft:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923293

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!

If you've set a password on your memory card, then you will need to unlock it first.
