Hi there,

Recently I bought a Nokia N9 and find out that all major languages are supported on the N9, except Chinese. What is wrong with Nokia? Any approach to make it supported?

Me too, just got the N9 and it doesn't come with any Chinese Language support.
Any updates on this?
It really affects my business contact with the business folks in China

Yepyep, English UI would be fine, but how about Chinese input?

Other Asian languages are supported, it is all about respect.

I hope that is an update for this.After the long wait since Nokia annouched N9, I got mine recently too.Nice phone ,love it.But the only thing is no chinese can be select in the option.My friend ,who is a PRC also is a Nokia Fans but he is not buying N9 cause N9 is not a chinese supported phone.That is sad.

Nokia pls do something on this.I love the phone but i cant send a mandarin sms to my PRC friens.

PR 1.1 update should include Chinese language support.  I am not sure whether all the variant get Chinese language support but at least my singopore version got it after update.

If you dun have Chinese on your phone, it's very clear you're running on the PR1.0 software.

Go get the software update to PR1.1 & PRC is all there
