N9 and Mirrorlink Headunit

I've tried scouring the net for info but have yet to come across anything!

Does anyone use the mirrorlink app with their N9? If so what Headunit do you use it with in your car?

I'm looking to get a new HU and I was looking at the Sony XAV-601bt but that only support Nokia Belle Symbian phones ie the E6 and doesn't have anything listed about the N9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: N9 and Mirrorlink Headunit

You have probably already seen these latest JVC head units announced at CES:http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/01/09/we.get.to.check.out.jvcs.upcoming.kw.nsx600.and.nsx700...

I do wonder however whether when mention is made of Nokia Symbian this also includes MeeGo N9 by default, as ML application probably written in Qt for both OS and N9 is certainly a MirrorLink certified device as here:http://mirrorlink.com/products/certified-products.html

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white kudos star would always be appreciated.

Re: N9 and Mirrorlink Headunit

I was actually looking at the slightly older Sony XAV601bt after I heard of mirrorlink when I had an SGSIII. The unit is pretty affordable now... Might just make the plunge and if it works it works if it doesn't... Well whatever :smileytongue:
I'll report back when I've done this and let you guys know how I get on.
