Hi,
Yesterday after taking some picture using my Nokia N9, I'm trying to share those picture to my Facebook. Suddenly my phone started to freeze so I just do a long press on the power button, and, there you go. The phone is half-dead now. It shows only NOKIA welcome screen and then the screen goes blank.
I'm running on firmware v20. Anyone having the same problem here? ![]()

@SITI87hajar
It sounds as if your N9 has now entered a "Boot loop" and I had to solve this upon my N9 by putting into R & D mode using another application and then re-install existing firmware with standalone Nokia Software Updater http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/...erSetup_EN.

If any of this takes you outside your comfort zone, there is probably no alternative other than to take device to a Nokia Care Point should N9 be supported in your region.

Thanks for the advice. My N9 is back to life, again. I used to connect the phone to the NSU and do something that I don't really remember the steps.

I have a similar issue with mine, but it doesn't turn itself off after a while. I've kept it on over the night and it still displays "NOKIA" with capitalized white letters.
What's the Linux equivalent to the updater software?
How am I supposed to open a terminal when all the phone does is displaying the startup screen?

Whilst there is a Flasher tool for Debian Linux under Maemo, AFAIK none such exists for Harmattan unfortunately!

Can you please provide me the detailed steps and links for the necessary software to solve this issue.
Unfortunately that is not possible upon this manufacturer's sponsored forum due to warranty considerations using non-authorised software and post would be moderated. The necessary information for this open source device is available, but as I have reiterated before if using Terminal commands takes you out of your comfort zone then perhaps better not proceeding down this route.

Depends upon whether "flasher" can recognise your N9:http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=82693
If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white kudos star would always be appreciated.

@wilard
Not clear from yoiur post whether you mean the display shows (with a big exclamation mark on yellowish triangle):
Device is malfunctioning. You may try re-flashing the software. If you are unable to do so, or the problem, or theproblem persists after flashing, please contact service.
