what does everyone think?
if i were a symbian user i would be really excited about this but its pretty much a step back from the N900
no... keyboard
mention of flash
control over the home screens
sign of a terminal
etc...
it does look very good but to go to that after the N900 is like going to a S40 device from an N8. there's just too much missing
all it has to offer that i want is the pinch & zoom, a better screen and a better camera ![]()

maybe size m8. the n8 looks like it has an extra mole on the back!
much sexier to be smooth....if you know what i mean! ![]()
its a shame the are making these devices with the auto focus.....the e90 and n900 have far superior picture taking control with the double tap levers.
i could never get the same high quality pictures from my e71 which had the same camera but different focus or even the new c7...which takes nice pictures, but notas good as my n900!
imo...because of the focus control.
edit: tx for the kudos m8 ![]()

From what I have seen so far, I would trade my N8 in for it. And I love my N8
in a heartbeat...symbian for maemo/meego!
you will find having a hard time ever going back because of the ease of flow. especially with how this is looking in the videos.....
the question now that remains....WHAT COLOR TO GET?!

They symbian on the E7 sucks vs the maemeeo on the N900. I traded my n900 for the E7 and regret it and now the N9 supercedes the N900 not bad I say as long as its the maemeeo softeware...

conn-dui-settings-nfc, libnfcstack: Software for NFC programming
facebookqml: facebook client
joikuspot: Oh good, bundled comercial software.. still, wifi hotspot mode is good!
kofficemeego: built in office suite

mms-messaging-plugin: it supports MMS natively. maybe?
I am really looking forward to this phone!

hello everyone, i'm back ! i had exams......
anyway this device is bloody awesome, i think u guys mentioned the awesome camera, the smooth as hell ui, and the super sexyness, here are some extras, the browser's html 5 performance smoked the ipad2's and the samsung galaxy s 2's , alien delvik will be avaible on the n9 later this year, with a small software it takes 10 minutes to INSTALL an android app/game on the n9, and it will run like any other apps, and more than 90 % of the apps in the android marketplace are supported, so yes no worries about the lack of apps ....
it has a facebook/youtube/twitter clients ....
it has an fm transmitter, but no software to take advantage of it, software update is on its way .....
no flash, but wait for the fennec, this isn't the fennec ........
a lots of NFC advantages like angry birds multiplayer or whatever.......
office editing for free out of the box .
and after alll its fully open source, and i bet terminal is there somewhere ...... and i think it already can run gingerbread .... ![]()
