Gosh ! I must say I am really dissapointed. I thought the N900 very proudly boasts about rendering only Desktop website pages no matter what the website is...But To my utter shock yesterday I tried logging on to one site (You know one of those sites '@##$' which cannot be mentioned publicly, If you know what I mean ) and it gave me Mobile Page like an WAP site. Goodness Gracious have I been made a fool here by having made understood that the N900 only returns Desktop website pages..No Matter what the website is...And which is not the case currently with me.

But What about this Porn Site that I was trying to visit. I know it may open full desktop site for other sites, But Why did not give its full Desktop site for this particular site.

It depends on the site you visit.

There is javascript on the page that resolves your browser name and type and if the code

is made so that when it founds eg. "Nokia" in browser agent string it will show you wap/mobile

version of the page regardless of your browser capabilites.

You can test it by chaging your desktop computers browser agent string if you like.

You've already got your answer at TMO, you don't need more information from us. Porn sites are no different to others - the odd one will recognise it as mobile, others will see it as a computer.

I still dont have a solution to my problem, do you have a specific solution to this problem rather then just talk about  a possibility which may suggest would have this problem. Someone has suggested me to download a App from Extra-Devel which would disguise the UA-User Agent when it asks the website to render the webpage. I am not really so keen on this solution especially if it needs to download a App from Extras-Devel, apart from this anything else that I can do. I want my N900 to be abolutely invincible in terms of atleast visiting the website is concerned. Otherwise it all defeats the whole purpose of having it which is have full desktop browsing...No Matter what the site is Business, Technology,Sports,News and yes even "PORN"

UA will be fine, if you want it to be 'invincible' then that's your best bet i think.

Otherwise, as i said, try a different porn site.
