Can anyone help me to get the SIP setting for my Nokia N900. I tried to set it.. but i couldnt sign in yet. I am using Smartvoip (Smartvoip.com) as voip service.

  I got Nokia N900. I am not able to use the SIP option, kindly let me know how to use it & can I use Fring or webphone or Jumblo software for Viop.

Hi I have tried the sip setting for nymgo you have mentioned. And that settings are helping me sign in to nymgo. But after that when I try to call It waits for a long time and then says no answer. 

The number I am trying to call is my other mobile number and its an N95 8gb(from which I had the same problem with SIP; so was using nymgo through Fring).

Can you please help me what else I can do to get this working.

Here are settings for Australia/NZ provider PennyTel:

Settings
Address: [PennyTel Number - 8889xxxxxx]@sip.pennytel.com
Password: The password you use to login to the PennyTel website
Enabled: Checked


Advanced Settings
Use for telephone numbers: Checked
User name: [Your Pennytel Number - 8889xxxxxx]
Transport: Auto
Outbound Proxy: sip.pennytel.com
Port: 5060
Discover public address: Checked
Loose routing: Not Checked
Keep-alive mechanism: Auto
Keep-alive period: Auto
Auto-detect STUN: Checked

use this setting for n900 working fine with me from long time.

Password  : your jumblo password.

Click on advanced Setting

Check use telephone number

username : jumblo username

Transport  : Auto

Outbound Proxy : sip.jumblo.com

port :5060

Check : Discover public adress

Uncheck : Loose routing

Keep- alive mechanism : Auto

Keep- Alive period : Auto

Check : auto detect Stun

These are the only settings for jumblo and its working fine with me if their is still any problem contact jumblo customer care or nokia care

i wanted to make my sip account made did all the necessary settings. but cant sign in what i noticed is that where your suppose to write down the address and password there is suppose to be a enable option which i can check but its not there for some reason. i have seen pictures of it and on top it says edit sip setting that heading doesnt even come up. Weird.

Any one else have this problem?
