need help with issue no 11. FM Transmitter Fix Instructions - Step by step guide.

i dont understand step number 3 and 4. when i type in cd mydocs into x-term it says cant cd to my docs.

and form where do we move the file to.

you have to have the caoptol letters.

a command like mv [option]... SOURCE DEST or: mv [option]...SOUCE...DIRECTORY

comes up..now what???

arvar....you have to be sure you are typing correctly.

mv fmtxd /var/sbin/

youre missing the space after fmtxd.

ive already installed fmms, but still cant send mms...=( do i need to insall something else? m not sure if it's a region problem

you will need to configure your settings to get it to work.  there is a link on the post for this.

however, here is a direct like for you to the configuration with most carriers to help you get it working.

I was a little surprised that Nokia Messenger is not using any SSL for incoming/outgoing ports.   Is your user name and password going over in plain text with nothing???

when it works, i have not had any issues with it.

have said that, i only use it for my odd-email accounts that i do not check all the time...so the program is more a convenience then necessity.

In regard to Nokia Messenging... I wasn't really asking if it works or not but why Nokia is not using SSL.  I believe you can use SSL when setting up each individual account (like Yahoo/Gmail) within Nokia Messenging, but you still have to connect to "Nokia's" server to retrieve the email...  and the current ports Nokia stated to use in this thread have no SSL.  Thus is your user name and password going over the line with nothing??? 

Maybe someone from Nokia can answer this...

yes   i think thats what i stated there.

my picture shows that i use the standard black theme.

i only use the theme control for bookmark sizing.

I get stucked on step 3 and 4 . Where should i save the fmtxd because after i download it and save to "Documents" , on step 4 when I type mv fmtxd it says "No such file or directory".

that is because you HAVE TO TYPE EXACLTY WHAT IS THERE!

you have to have the M and D in the command.

if its in docks you need to run

cd .documents

then move it

I have aquery about the qcpufreq app.  all the apps are installed for issue 12 need for speed.  fire up qcpufreq and the scrollbar is to the far right and max cpu is 600.  so how do i get it to OC passed that?

Ignore my last post. a simple shutdown and restart enabled the additional OC settings to appear. hey ho
