Hi Qaisabrar,
The native software of the Nokia N9 is currently is not supporting video calls.
Although you could try using thid-party applications to achieve this over WLAN.
To use video call applications on 3G network, please refer to your mobile provider to ensure it is possible. Not all of them support this at this moment.
Hope this helps.

Skype is considered a third party application, But sadly.
they have pull out the video calling function on the N9.
It indeed works on the N900, but not for the N9, yet.

What a waste. Nokia should provide native support for 3G video call/front-camera. After all, they pioneering 3G technology

Does it mean that people who bought N9 paid for some hardware, which they can not use?
I wonder what is the purpose of putting front face camera (and charging buyers for it) if native software does not support fron camera?

I have called and spoke to Nokia Support, which they have now set-up a Specialised Separate N9 Support Dept and what they told me in regards to Video Calling Capability with the N9 was that since the N9 with the MeeGo OS was launched in such a hurry, the complete firmware specs was not avaialable but will and or should be in due time but no time frame as to when was given to me as Video Call was and is important to me.
They (Nokia) and your Mobile Service Providers did not inform Customers of this prior to them obtaining and or purchasing the N9 which in my opinion is not only not fully disclosing everything about the N9 but is somewhat mildly fraudulent.
Then to make the matters worse, even they (she @ Nokia) started going on and on about the GPS not fucntioning properly which has nothing to do with the matter or issue at hand in referrence to the Firmware!!!

That raises the question what purpose did Nokia (decision makers at Nokia) pursue when launching phone that is not complete?
I mean when you are in a losing situation and you need to introduce a new breakthrough product -- you have to make sure that it is perfect or near perfect, otherwise you are going to destroy yourself.

In Azerbaijan 3G Video calling is the same price with normal call. When N9 will support 3G Video calling?
