Sorry, no info available at the moment of video call support for 3G or Skype. Video calls are currently supported with Gtalk in N9 PR1.2.

I cannot install Gtalk application from OVI Store

Ovi Store Application shows 'Launch' button like I would have the application, but if I click the 'Launch' button it will say that 'There was problem launching this item' and 'Download error'. Then 'Launch' button has changed to 'Download' button. If I click the 'Download' button I will get after short time erreo message "Can't Install. Installation package not found. <ok>"

I cannot use "tomex77" hint either, as my device don't have Gtalk application visible on the Application list so that I could uninstall it.

Are you working on to fix this ?

Can you try using apt-get -f remove video-call-installer in the terminal ? Using developer mode of course.
Then try to reinstall from the store.

That solved it for me at least.

I tried that, but it bricked my device.

apt-get command went fine with devel-su rights, but at the time I was installing the application from the store, it told me something that conflicting application needs to be removed. I selected yes and the it started to install the application, but it jammed to the stage then installation bar was complete. After 20 min or so I turned the device off, and now it won't start up. I just got 'Nokia' text on black background, but it never goes forward from that point.

Is there some easy way to flash the device to latest version ?

open nokia store and download gtalk app to video call your online gtalk contacts but remember if your online contact is online using iphone then video call will not work properly!

I bought a Nokia N9.....    you know, what guess ?  I am deaf for need Video call into deaf interpeter service.    I believe there no video call.    I am waste paid this.     My previous old NOKIA E90 was video call.  I thought NOKIA did made it.   Now what ?

hi guys if nokia n9 does not have many feature it lacks lots of feature one of them ie. Video calling then what is the purpose of this mobile what have we got after paying a huge amount to buy this phone although it is a quite amazing fun nokia should do some thing about it even it lacks many apps how wiuld it be able to compete all other phones......!!!!!

Nokia does not plan for the phone to compete with other phones. Haven't you heard? They abandoned that already.
