no its not fake, the n900 can run all the android versions, plus the ubunto plus windows 98.......
and an android emulator that can run android apps is coming later this year, and for android if you install it, well when you turn on your phone you get the option to choose from maemo or nitdroid .
HERE ARE instructions on how to get it on your internal memory (way faster
) .

Android on the N900 is not complete, if you took the time to read the site, you'd see that these things are still being worked on.
Sorry, but there is nothing that anyone here will be able to do, unless they are working on the NitDroid project.

Arshi,
Installing NitDroid to a MMC is the safest way.
Use NitDroid installer to install NitDroid. Its easy.
If you wanna log in to NitDroid, re-boot your device and open your keyboard.
Youll see a multi-boot menu and select the OS that you wanna boot. (Use the keyboard)
Cheers
actually i have to disagree, installing it on the emmc is way better, your not creating any partition on the emmc, so its safe, and botting nitdroid from A MMC kills the battery, and you need a class 10 to match the emmc's speed .
so nitdoid vostok (nitdroid 11) running on the emmc, with the multibbot kernel power 46 with adw launcher with the global marketplace (i forgot the naem of this app, its the android marketplace but it has everything for free, pm me to send you a download link ) = the best second os ever .
yes it might hangs some times, or it might gets a bit slow, but its not bad at all .

elie7,
I really didnt know about NITdroid like you do. Ive got advice from ceroberts75 and others long time ago and they all said install it to the MMC. Coz its safe.
But after your advice, ive installed it on eMMC and , yeah its dammmnnn superb!! ;D [Im not saying that ceroberts75 is wrong!Hes a genius always
]
So ignore that post ive made. Now my idea is different about NitDroid ![]()
Anyway cheers mate ![]()
