After updating today to the latest N9 update, I can't change the brightness level. It's grayed out and if I click it, nothing happens. Please, is there a solution?

5800-E72-N80-N9-Iphone-BB

I like all the phones in my household but the N9 is a big disappointment :
Low ring tones
Led doesn't work
Arabic Language interface taking too long
Doesn't support Nimbuzz
Division of memory has no logic
I regret buying this phone and am trying to sell it for any price right now.

Hi Haythamghareeb,

 

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Nokia discussion forums.

 

From what you have described it sounds like you may have power save mode on. When power save mode is on you cannot adjust the brightness.

 

If you go into settings - device - battery - you will see the power save option. From here switch it off and you should be able to change your brightness once you have switched this off.
