hi i got a text message from a friend and when i opened it up an error message showed up: internal error. Application 'conversations closed'. this means i cant read her sms or send any sms at all to anyone. anyone know how to fix, maybe a command in xterm? thanks

did you try opening it again? i've had that with the browser a few times, just opened it again and it all worked normally

turn of phone, take of battery for 30 sec, turn it back on, and than try the conversations app, and see if you can read them now.

@richwhite browser works perfectly i kept reopening conversations and it still displays error.

its when i open the conversations. i can send sms via the contact list but that is kind of pointless really. Just that when i open conversations i get error message and it closes down.

Ok i just reinstalled firmware over NSU and it worked luckily I had a backup a few days ago.
P.S I used to have the global version of pr 1.3, but the NSU has added a 205.1 at the end of my firmware version what does this mean

I hit this problem, but managed to fix it....
After lots of trial and error I tried experimenting with the keyboard settings and disabled auto-complete. The crashes stopped.
I then started up "Auto completion editor" (in extras-devel). This told me my auto completion directory was corrupt (truncated). I clicked save to store an empty auto-complete dictionary
The crashes have stopped :-)
