<body><p>hi there,<p>I'm desperate with my N9... suddenly twitter stopped to connect and kept asking me my password. After that I did a reboot and it said that it was unable to connect to twitter. After that my nokia account did the same thing and now it's the same with my gmail account. Only facebook is still running fine !! after a reboot, facebook is still running but my phone is unable to connect to my nokia, gmail or twitter account anymore. Please I need help !!

Solved by hard reset...

in the future, you do not have to hard reset, you can do the folowing.

make sure that you have enabled developer mode:

open xterm (do not devel-su into the terminal)
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/http_proxy
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/proxy
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/osso

this wipes all the bluetooth connections and internet connection data as well, but that is easy to redo.

i enabled developer mode and also opened term
but when i typed in gconftool --recursive-unset /system/http_proxy; it said that error while parsing options: unknown option --recursive-unset/system/http_proxy
can you please explain..?

Gotten into similar problem with my N9. Gmail, Nokia acount works fine but I can't connect to Twitter and Facebook using the built-in applications. Twitter says "can't connect to twitter' and when I refresh FB I see 'account disabled' when I complete my swipe action. Only thing I suspect is two days back battery went flat and didn't charge the phone for ten minutes or so. Any solution to this problem other than hard reset/developer mode method?.

Hi krizanand,

Have you tried to delete the accounts by going to:

Accounts--->(Twitter), (Facebook)---->option (Three line symbol)---->delete.

Restart phone and add accounts again. This should solve the problem.

I tried the following:

enable developer mode in N9 settings.

In pc:

ssh user@149......(so my N9 IP)

gconftool --recursive-unset /system/http_proxy
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/proxy

Then in N9:

Accounts ->create new twitter

Twitter was able to login immediately

So no osso unset was needed -> no IAPs reset

-Can't tell if it causes something else later.

-I didn't have any proxies defined earlier, so via UI was not solution for me.
