Likely because Adobe didn't want to (or Nokia didn't want to pay Adobe enough for them to want to).

When Adobe made the version for maemo, they had Nokia's visions of a whole roadmap of future maemo and then MeeGo devices. Now that there's only the N9 and nothing further (no more maemo or MeeGo devices), it'll be hard for Adobe to justify the effort, if Nokia doesn't pay the bill for doing it.

Probably nobody in Nokia or Adobe that knows the real answer will read this, or even if they do, they're not likely to answer.

This is great! Just installed it and very surprised at how good the performance is. Even full screen mode works when playing videos! Great stuff. I never knew Firefox was coming until the other day, now Flash too.. really good! What next I wonder?

Don't know how to disable flash player.... but my understanding is that FF is using the flash player only if needed.

Flash Player is now working with PR1.1 as well after update to version 4.0.0-73.1
