ive had the chance to use one for a few hours but it would not be fair to give full judgment on the device as you would need a few days to check its overall performance with all things running.

its the best looking nokia phone in a long time and feels great, superb screen and seems responsive enough.

This time round i will not be rushing out to buy one as ive done for many years, hopefully one of my clients will lend me one soon when they stock it but they are not destined for ireland or uk at present.

But they provide sim free phones for people who request them as a special order so to speak

If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

Proud to be using a Nokia Lumia 920

Re: nokia n9

I've had today to use my mates n9 that he received a couple of days ago here in Australia.
I will say that if your a gadget person this phone is not for you. It's so simple to use that it kinda makes things too simple.
Everything works so smoothly even when I had 20 live apps running in multitasking all day, social streaming, 6 web pages, camera, games, music, video player, maps,RSS, calender, facebook, messaging, emails, weather. Once in multitasking they open instantly and are all updated fresh and responsive.
The swipe gesture instantly works intuitively and seems as revolutionary as when the first iphone os hit the market. There's no doubt in my mind this os has raised the bar. As for the hardware it as simple and sleek as the os.
My only concern is the availability of enough apps to keep the phone fresh and exciting.
But if your not a app junkie it's the phone for you.

Re: nokia n9

AS far as the Apps thing goes, It really depends on what you want, i have downloaded the majority of the Apps i need on my N9 things like a unit converter and a file manager, there are a few games too but what else would you want?
