Hi!

With the "normal" keyboards a swipe down will hide the keyboard. When I try this with the new swype keyboard it will attempt to interpret the swipe. Is it possible to hide the swype keyboard at all? Or should I switch to one of the classic keyboard first?

i too face the same issue. But the reason to hide keyboards is very less for me and hence, this is ok with me.

The solution is to change the keyboard and hide the default one.

Just click out of the field you are typing in. Once you have done that the keyboard goes away.

Unfortunately that doesn´t work in all apps.
