Went to send an MMS for the first time today and it wouldn't send. I just get a message saying "the message could not be send" and then a "please try again" link, which doesn't help.
I have the network setup app on my phone and that doesn't help either. I tried sending a smaller picture in the MMS incase it was a file size issue, but that has no effect.
Can anyone help? Thanks
p.s I should add that in the network setup APN settings, ALL feilds are blank. Even the internet ones, but the internet works fine on the phone (just switched wi-fi off to double check) so not sure where any other settngs may be stored?

@mrbungle
Can you confirm that this device is SIM locked to T-Mobile with their particular software installed, which is usually the case if APN settings can't be input?
If device is "unlocked" has SIM been changed as if device has been reset by going to Settings > about > reset your device" it should read settings from SIM when device is setup.
For T-Mobile (UK) these are:-
Name: Picture Message
APN: general.t-mobile.uk
Proxy:
Port:
Username: t-mobile
Password: tm
Server:
MMSC: http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk:8002
MMS Proxy: 149.254.201.135
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 30
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: mms

The device was sim free when bought. I was using a 5530 before this so had to visit a T-Mobile store t get a micro sim with my number and details on it.
Popped it in the phone and it has all been fine apart from MMS.
The trouble I now have is, if I go to add the APN settings for MMS the Lumia won't let me just add those details, it expects me to add all the internet settings as well. I don't want to screw up my internet by messing with those settings if I can help it.
T-Mobile have been less than helpful so far as well. Just not sure why the Network Setup app isn't picking up all the settings as it should do. Thanks

For anyone else that may have this problem, I found a solution that worked for me.
Simply start Network setup app, but let it choose a network that isn't your own. Once it has found that networks settings, choose your own network and it forces the app to pick up the complete settings including MMS.
Took many hours of googling but I got there in the end.
