I'm quite happy with my new E6 but coming from my trusted E51 it is a bit hard to adjust to the E6's email client.
In particular I cannot find a way to make use of the text in an email.
On the E51 the options menu offered
* select text (for copying)
* copy to clipboard (for URLs) and
* call (for numbers)
Where have these options gone? Or am I overlooking something?
Help!

@E6_00
Welcome to the forum!
Have you tried a "longpress" when over item?

Oh, I have longpressed my way through the gorilla glas by now but to no avail.
Is this an E6 specific bug?
Does it work on the other Symbian^3 devices?

@E6_00
On other Symbian^3 devices just tapping on .url link in email is sufficient.
You can always use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V for copy and paste as per Page 25 of user guide:http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/guides/Nokia_E6

Clicking the URL works fine if I wanted to open the link. But I want to copy the address to use elsewhere (eg. in Opera Mini).
And before I can ctrl-c and ctrl-v text I have to select it - which I can't in Mail.
It does work in text messages, though. Maybe it's due to Mail using the browser engine to display emails now. Can't select text in the browser either.

There is a workaround to copy text from an email: hit reply or forward and enjoy selecting the text ![]()
