First Make an IM configuragion

for that

goto Settings->Configuation->Personal Config. Sett.->Add New->Instant Messaging->

Account Name-> Type any

Server address-> http://imps.msg.yahoo.com

user ID-> Ur email ID

password-> Ur password

use preffered acces point->  if u choose No then provide the acces point name of ur service provider (for eg: If BSNL put bsnlnet )

i can online in ims, but i can see nobody online inside.
I try to chat with a friend, he can accept. But when he reply to chat with me. I cannot accept. Can sombody help me!

1. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Configuration -> Personal Config Setting -> Click Option & add new.
2. Now choose Instant Messaging give desire account name Yahoo or Hotmail.
3. Server address of Yahoo is http :/ /imps .msg .yahoo .com
4. Now give User Id & Password of you Yahoo account.
5. Finally choose Use Pref. Access Point to Yes. (Make sure you had already activated GPRS or Internet Service on your mobile ask your Service Provider for this)
6. Now get back at the top level & go to Menu -> Messaging -> IMs your account is listed here finally give password & select Login your yahoo messenger is configured in your S40 series mobile.

At the moment i do not know server address of Hotmail. If some one know kindly mention in Comments.
