Hello,

i have the messaging problem. i am not able to sen messages from yesterday. i have latest firmware version updated on my phone.

from yesterday i am having a strange problem, when i tried to send a text message, it will be stuck in the outbox and then there will be resend after 3 mins, but message will not be send as 3 min time go on increasing.

i have tried *#7780# but it did not help.

please help me with this issue.

hi mate,

have you checked the condition of your SIM card and also checked on your phone for any updates? there was something pushed in SW update a few months back to Belle devices that fixed some SMS sending issues so that may help you out. also check with your network carrier that you are having no issues with reception / signal strength in your area.

i have tried with various sim, sim condition is fine. only one or two message are sent other will be stuck in outbox with 3 min delay in sending. .

i checked message centre number that is also ok, that sim works perfectly in other handset (my beloved nokia n72) but from yesterday i am facing this "message sending failed, resend after 3 minutes" issue.

problem is not solved yet..

sorry to hear my friend. apart from something as drastic as a three-finger hard reset, there is probably not much more you can do. wait a few days and see if the issue resolves itself. i had the same thing happen on my N8 and it went away after a while.

how to do the three finger reset for nokia e6, please tell me.

as messaging is very common app so i m missing it badly

Have you tried delting the mailbox first? I am also experiencing problems with mail on my E6, but I rather suspect the Nokia Mail / Yahoo system might not be entirely without fault ...

the problem exists only with text messages, ie SMS. but all other functions work well.

after restarting the handset, i am able to send 2-3 text messages but after some time again all messages will go outbox with resend after 3 mins , but message will never be sent
