Hello there!

Just recently, after i changed my phone operator, i have been having some problems with recieving text messages on my Nokia E7. 4-5 days in a row, i do not recieve any text messages whatsoever.

I spoke to my new phone operator, and they adviced me to try putting my SIM in a different phone to see if the problem is on the SIM, or on the phone. So when i put my SIM in a HTC phone, i recieve text messages just fine.

Then after a couple of days, all the messages that i havent recieved all week, suddenly keep pouring in. So i get 18 text messages in a row, 4 or 5 days old.

This problem has now happened to me twice during the last month. Anybody know if there is a software issue on the E7, or if its only my phone that has a bug?

have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your device via Nokia Suite on your PC? if there are any, please update to the latest version offered. also ensure that you are up to date in checking SW Update on your device.

Also, are you using both Nokia E7 and HTC phones with different SIMs (or one phone is just a standby device)? If Yes, and if the SIMs are from different operators, it will be worth trying swapping the SIMs for a few days and see if the problem remains or that also gets swapped ....
