i just bought my nokia 5530 few weeks ago, everything was fine.

 

but started this morning, when sms comes, there's no alert ringing nor vibration, only can see the notificaition light blinking, but for call, everything was fine.

 

i tried to restart my phone but still same. what should i do?

Confirm that a TONE is selected under Message Alerts in your Active profile personalisation ..

Also, if you have a large no. of messages stored on your phone, delete as many as possible. If you need to keep them, Back-up / Sync them using the Nokia Suite on your PC before deleting them from the device ..
