I have had a Nokia lumia 710 for a couple of months now , today i go to send a message and i noticed the messaging icon on the front of screen has gone , its just a black space . What could of happened ? I've been all through the phone trying to get it back but alas nowhere to be found .

Thank you for your post and let me welcome you to the forums.

Just to clarify the live tile on main page, the messaging tile has dissappered?

What you can do is to re-add by scrolling across to the long list off all applications and scroll down to messaging and then hold down the icon and then press pin to start.
