We suggest you to try putting your SIM card in another phone and send an SMS to see if it works.
If the issue persists, please visit one of our Nokia Care Points and ask them to fix this problem.

A friend of mine is facing the same problem.
We can send messages from the same SIM card using a different phone but not with Nokia E7-00.
The problem is that the Warranty of the phone has expired and my friend is **bleep** at the fact that he trusted nokia with an expensive Executive Class Phone and he's facing basic SMS sending problem. Needless to say, he does not want to pay for the service.
Can anything be done in this case at our end ?

I am having the exact same problem, tried different branded ph's and had no issues there so knew my SIM card wasnt faulty. Hopefully they run another update to sort out this pain in the butt issue.
I'm having the same problem.
I've tried many different combinations of settings and restarts to solve, but half of my SMS's still end up as unsent in the outbox. If I click on it to retry, the recipient sometimes gets the SMS twice. (What the heck!?!?!)
Unfortunately, my phone went out of warranty two months ago. Bud judging by Nokia's response regarding the Nokia Suite's bug with the calendar, I suspect Nokia will provide no support.
Attn to Nokia: on an off chance I will actually get at least one problem solved by Nokia support, can you provide any solution for your flag ship enterprise oriented phone that was sold at an unsubsidised price via Amazon?

Confirm that the Message Centre settings (number) is correct.. (Confirm with your Operator ...)
