i have nokia e7 and i am unable to send sms.i have checked the message center number which is correct and i have restored my mobile and also hard reseted my mobile i have recycled all the sms but i m unable to send sms.it does not says sending it directly says resend ...........answer me if any ones could......thanx

We suggest you to try putting your SIM card in another phone and send an SMS to see if it works.

If the issue persists, please visit one of our Nokia Care Points and ask them to fix this problem.

I have the same issue which only started to occur after the Belle update. My phone is a C7. The exact same problem is also occuring on my brother's C7. We're both on the same network and we both upgraded to Belle at the same time.

I've checked with my network that I have the correct message centre number.

I hate being advised to visit Nokia Care. I've done everything correctly. This is real phone basics that should never be happening.

I should just add that roughly 50% of my messages go through correctly, the other 50% get sent to the outbox where another attempt to resend the message is made after a 10 minute delay.

at last i am able to solve the problem , my sim was working in calling ,mms and sms recieving but unable to send sms , it was the problem of sim may be it get scratched so i replaced the sim with the new one and i was able to send sms ........ThanX

Hi, 

A friend of mine is facing the same problem.

We can send messages from the same SIM card using a different phone but not with Nokia E7-00.

The problem is that the Warranty of the phone has expired and my friend is **bleep** at the fact that he trusted nokia with an expensive Executive Class Phone and he's facing basic SMS sending problem. Needless to say, he does not want to pay for the service.

Can anything be done in this case at our end ?

I am having the exact same problem, tried different branded ph's and had no issues there so knew my SIM card wasnt faulty.  Hopefully they run another update to sort out this pain in the butt issue.

I'm having the same problem.

I've tried many different combinations of settings and restarts to solve, but half of my SMS's still end up as unsent in the outbox.  If I click on it to retry, the recipient sometimes gets the SMS twice.  (What the heck!?!?!)

Unfortunately, my phone went out of warranty two months ago.  Bud judging by Nokia's response regarding the Nokia Suite's bug with the calendar, I suspect Nokia will provide no support.

Attn to Nokia: on an off chance I will actually get at least one problem solved by Nokia support, can you provide any solution for your flag ship enterprise oriented phone that was sold at an unsubsidised price via Amazon?

Hope to hear a posative response.., despite my not so posative message (which has been created by very poor Nokia support to since day 1... yes I'm very disappointed)

Yes I'm having the same problem with Nokia E7. I check the message centre number with my local mobile network company and it's O.K. I also tried my sim card in a another mobile phone and SMS messaging worked. I restored the factory settings on the Nokia E7-00 but it is still having the same problem..
1. To call or receive a call - O.K
2. To receive SMS - O.K
3. To send SMS - NOT O.K

Confirm that the Message Centre settings (number) is correct.. (Confirm with your Operator ...)
