I deleted my old messages, but I did it in conversations menu - deleted old conversations, from outbox/sent mesaagesg all the messages I have sent dissapared but in the inbox they stayed, which means I can't open them . there are just a number and a first line from the messages but I can't delete them or do anything, theu just are. I can't open inbox menu - i can open it from sent messages and so on but not from the inbox!!!

What I have to do to get rid of the old messages?

I deleted the conversation - but it only deleted my sent messages and the ones i have recieved stayed into inbox, but they won't open and the inbox menu doesn't open too!

A soft reset might do the trick

I receive the SMS but I can not send it.
My Nokia is N73 model. I erase all my old SMS's from inbox, send, etc.

A soft reset:go to settings>factory settings and select restore.enter your phone lock code and the phone will restart.if the problem persists keep me posted
