text messages show on screen - how to turn them off?

Hi,

am just learning to drive a nokia 610 and have noticed that whenever I receive a text, the whole message appears on screen. How do I change that so that I have to select the message before viewing it - just want some privacy!

can anyone help?

If what you mean is the Messages getting displayed for a few seconds at the Top of the screen when they arrive..then it is NOT possible to make them not to appear...

You alos can't change the way they get displayed when you open 'Messaging' ...
