Hi, I have whatsapp installed on my Nokia Lumia 920, how do i get the notification to show up on my lock sreen?

Also how do i change the tones when receiving whatsapp message?

Hi mate,

I presume the settings woul be inside the app for WhatsApp tones, however it would also pay to check if there are any relevant ringtones under Settings > Ringtones + Sounds.

As for the notification to show up on your lock screen, I'm unsure if Whatsapp would support it, but if it did, the place to look is in Settings > Lock screen, under the area Notifications. There is an option to choose which app to display detailed status, and also which apps to show quick status.

Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately I cannot change the notifications on my lock screen because at the moment windows phone do not support whatsapp so hopefully there will be a update coming very soon.

I cannot change the tone settings because whatsapp / windows phone do not accept this, again hopefully there will be an update coming very soon.

I bought the new Nokia Lumia 920 from AT&T. I am trying to download "Whatsapp" on it; however, it says "This app is not available for your device."

Could someone please suggest me what to do and how can I download Whatsapp on Nokia Lumia 920?

I installed whatsapp just before MS took it off their Market Share. Hopefully whatsapp will be available for Windows Phone 8 very soon. There are loads of missing features like no notification on lock screen, no change of tones available etc.

As this is a user to user forum only for Nokia products and services, you will have to contact WhatsApp directly via their website/forums etc. There is a rumoured update that will promise six times the performance boost on Windows Phone. Believe it when I see it, lol.

Currently it has been taken OFF due to some issue. The new version compatible (and hopefully bug-free) with Lumia 920 should be realesed shortly..so you need to wait till then ..

I'm able to download the whatsapp but 1 problem recently find out. I can send capture photos, save from internet photos  through whatsapp but I cannot send screenshot photos through whatsapp.

Can anyone help?
