Getting ringtone to start further into file?

I have a 2710 and would like to use a music file for a ringtone, but would like to get it to 'start' at a point that isn't the beginning of the file? Is this possible? If not, anyone got a good way of 'cutting' a section of a mp3 out?

You need to edit the file on a PC/MAC to start playing from the desired point, it's not something that you can edit on that phone.

Depending on what operating system you use on your computer you should be able to find some free audio editing software by searching google.

Audacity is a popular, free audio file editor: http://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/
