Re: How can I transfer music by Bluetooth in N9 nokia

Hey sonia9hp,

Welcome to the nokia discussion forum and thank you for your contribution. You can use Bluetooth to send pictures, videos, and other content created by you to your friend's compatible phones and devices and to your computer.

You can have several Bluetooth connections active at a time. For example, if you are connected to a compatible headset, you can also send files to another compatible device at the same time.

  1. Select and hold the item, for example, a picture, and select Share > Bluetooth.

  2. Select the device to connect to. Bluetooth devices within range are displayed.

  3. If the other device requires a passcode, enter the passcode. The passcode, which you can define yourself, must be entered in both devices. The passcode in some devices is fixed. For details, see the user guide of the device.

The passcode is valid only for the current connection.

TipTip:

If you connect to a device frequently, to set it as authorised, select icon-l-settings.jpg and Bluetooth. Make sure Bluetooth is activated. Select Bluetooth devices and the device, and activate Connect automatically. When a device is authorised, you do not have to enter the passcode every time.

Besides taking pictures with your phone, you can also capture your special moments as videos.

Select icon-l-camera.jpg.

  1. To switch from image mode to video mode, if necessary, select Video mode icon.

  2. To start recording, select Record icon. A red record icon is displayed.

  3. To stop recording, select Record icon. The video is automatically saved in Gallery.

    Hope this helps,

    Whizzkid

No need to worry! The Nokia n9 CAN transfer music via bluetooth. The solution is to install a simple app. First go to 'store' on your phone. Search for an application called filebox. Download and install it -- don't worry, it's free. Now you can launch the app and search for the file. Leave the item pressed for a while and the options will come up. Choose share and then bluetooth. Done! I was going through this same problem so I hope this is helpful :smileyhappy:

Thanks for your suggestion. You are right this really works. Last but not least its unaceptable that a costly phone like this one needs this kind of gadget to transfer music files specially if we can transfer fotos and videos with no problem at all.
