I have downloaded OVI Music Player on PC (Platform Windows XP). However the Music store home page does not display. It keeps showing the message - "Could not sign in automatically". You need to log in Manually." However, the Sign In link does not respond, and the page keeps getting refreshed automatically showing the the above error message. This keeps running in a loop.
Let me know what is the solution to this problem.

I have exactly that same problem. I activated account 2 days ago, already download about 50 albums and everything works just fine. Now I can listen those downloaded music, but cant go to get any new music..

Hi, did clearing cookies do anything?
We only registered our code yesterday and only managed 3 albumns before it stopped working and now the Ovi player is just constantly refreshing trying to sign us in - driving me insane.
Could an employee please reply or contact us. I filled out the Nokia form a week ago to make sure I wouldn't have any issues adding a new comes with music voucher and still do not have a reply.
Really just want help now.

Hi, I am still getting the same message saying that "You couldnt be signed in automatically. Please sign in manually" and it keeps refreshing and repeating the message over and over. I have reinstalled the player 4 or 5 times after spending over an hour talking to the nokia helpline people and reinstalled 3 other programs at the same time that they asked for with no sucess.
I followed what you said but it made no difference and my wife is getting pretty upset about it all - I brought her the new phone last weekend for her birthday so she could download music and she has only managed a handful before this message came up last Sunday.
Please could you help? I use Windows 7 - please message me and I will tell you anything that you need to know.

Thanks. I did what msg 5 "NokiaOviFan" suggested.
WIndows Vista:
closed all browsers
went to control panel, internet options, browsing history, delete..
i deleted the following in this order:
- cookies
- form data
- passwords
started ovi player. it asked for the login. worked.
lost a lot of persistent logins, but music is kind of important to me too...
i hope nokia can fix the problems and i wish all the best

when i started ovi player i got the message " that your account could not be signed in automatically try signing manually".
The probelem was resolved with;
"deleting history, temp data and cookies etc" in all the internet browsers.

i loaded my nokia music player at my work pc and because they blocked ovi side i want to load nokia music player on new pc. im struggling please help.

@ratthu - Did you already tried clearing privacy data from browser settings? If not, please try that. If did and not helping please let me know if you see any error messages there.
