have you checked via Nokia Suite that you have the latest firmware update installed on your device? i did try playing a few 720p MVK files under Nokia belle Refresh and it didn't play all of them. this may be due to the codec support, so as long as you are sure that you have the latest update, then there is nothing more you can do mate. Suppose you could always convert the video file to a suitable container for playback on the device though.
Symbian is now in maintenance mode, so doubt very much that there will be any more major firmware updates, perhaps the odd bug fix. Sorry mate.
