I've just recently bought the Nokia 700 and the music player already seems to be messing up. I've put my music directly (drag and drop) onto a 16gb memory card and since then I've only been able to select music by either song or album and the artist option has disappeared. Basically what I've had to do is create playlists for separate bands so that I can listen to the music by them separately.
In Ovi Suite it's not recognising a lot of the bands from my music library on the mobile. It appears as though it managed to find some of them when I've previously been connected to the PC but then there's about 2/3 of the bands that it hasn't been able to find. There's one band in my library that's showing as having songs that I've previously deleted and they're not actually on the memory card any more.
Is this some sort of tagging issue?

Try using Windows Media Player to Find Album info and then match the Album, it should tag all the details on your music and it will display exactly as it should in the Music Player !

Hello. I had some issues with music meta data on the Nokia 700 when dragging and dropping the files onto the memory card directly. The solution for me was to remove the files from the phone, and then sync music to phone using Nokia Suite rather than dragging and dropping.
