Nokia E72-1, software version 054.005.
I can't see the option to refresh my music library. If I go in the Music Library, in the Options menu I have:
Go to Now playing
Go to Music store
Music Library Details
Help
Exit
I've just synched my phone with iTunes by using Nokia Multimedia Transfer, and the files have been copied on my memory card under Sound files\iTunes Music\ and they play correctly from the file manager, but there's not way to "see" them in the Music Library.
Note that the Nokia website explicitly says that the Music Library should be refreshed after a sync. http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/no

Hi ilgioa,
Welcome to our Nokia forum!
If you go to Menu > Media > Music Player You should be able to see 'Refresh Library' in between 'Go to Now playing' and 'Go to Music store'. If this option is missing in your E72, please update the software via Nokia Suite.
If this doesn't help, please visit a Nokia care centre where they can flash the device and reinstall the original software.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply.
I'm on a Mac since a few days now and I haven't found a way to update the phone software through it yet. However I've checked on the phone itself (*#0000# then options-> etc.) and it says it's up to date. (firmware version mentioned above). I'm based in Italy.
Frankly, having to reinstall the whole device seems a bit drastic to me. Any workaround?

Hi ilgioa,
Reinstalling the software doesn't cost that much time, but if you're using a Mac it won't be possible to do it yourself. Please visit a Nokia care centre in Italy where they can fix this straight away. To find one near you, click here.

Hi, just as a final follow-up: after a few days, the Refresh Library option miracolously reappeared in the Menu, and I was able to see the iTunes songs. Quite a mistery to me, however at the end it worked.
