Setting of playlist

Why I cannot create different settings for different playlists on my 701?

Re: Setting of playlist

Hi AzaRich,

What settings do you want to set specifically? As individual settings such as equalizer cannot be applied for different playlists, this is usually set for the music player as a whole.

Let us know exactly what you are asking for and the community could help you in providing a solution.

Regards,

Re: Setting of playlist

If you look at the Nokia 701 user guide, on page 87 it should give you more information in regards to your settings.

Re: Setting of playlist

And???

Please create two playlists.

Set for first "shuffle on".

Set for second "shuffle off".

Close music player or again navigate to the first playlist - you can find that the "shuffle on" option was not saved.

Thanks.

Re: Setting of playlist

the shuffle and repeat options are generic and I believe you cannot specify playlist 1 to have shuffle and playlist 2 to not. If you want the playlist to be on shuffle, you have to select it, then if you want another playlist to not have shuffle, you got to deselect shuffle.

Re: Setting of playlist

Ok.

Please see my situation.

I've two playlists: first - music, second - my English lessons.

When I want listen to music, I want use shuffle on and want to set this option one time.

When I want listen to my lessons, I want use shuffle off and want to set this option one time.

But I really can't do it...

Every time when I start music player I need to look at this option and change it every time!

Re: Setting of playlist

I'm afraid that the shuffle and repeat options are generic across the playlists and music player. So if you want your music to be on shuffle, you will have to set this. Likewise with the English lessons, you will have to take shuffle off to have it play chronologically.
