Hi !
It is obvious I am little simple minded, so forgive if I ask some odd questions.
In past two years I have had phones 5800XM and N97 and changed my Lenovo
laptop to Booklet3G. And as some other N97 users I have hard reseted my N97
few times in last 15 months (you know the "use all your fingers at different keys
and start your phone" -method).
To result for all this, some of my previous 5800XM music had been locked in past
20 months. I have been told the music from old music store had some kind of code
that locks your music if you move/reload it to too many places/devices.
For understandable reasons, of course.
What I am asking now is, what should I do with my new N8, in few weeks I get my
hands on it, so I can move my N97 music to N8 without more of them gets locked?

Hi vvaino,
Sounds like you've encountered the same issues with DRM that I had last year.
In some countries the Nokia music store has changed to ovi music. Ovi music now lets you re-download your purchases in DRM free mp3 format that you can transfer to as many devices as you want.
Am I correct in thinking that you use the Finnish store? If so log in via your booklet 3G on http://music.ovi.com click the account link near the top, click download history (left hand side), click the purchased downloads tab and you should see your music.
You should see a pink download arrow next to each song. Download them to the booklet and transfer to your devices. You can delete the old DRM tracks from your phone/computer that are stored in WMA format.
Hope this helps! ![]()

Hello @Psycho!
It went just the way you told! I found the pink arrow, deleted the old
music from my phone and Booklet, and reloaded all music back to
them!
And the music sounds greatly from both devices! I even got back some
albums I lost starting my journey with the N97. I take my hat of and
say "Thank you for your advice!" And kudos, of course.
And greetings also to all Nokia people out there, this ovi music -case is
the right way to improve your product portfolio in these challenging times.
