I can see how this can be embarrassing or rather inconvenient! As far as I know, you cannot stop this behaviour of the Music Player. The Music Player picks up all audio files saved on the phone and lists them in the music library. I too myself wish that it wouldn't list my audio recordings in the music library. Only thing I can think of is to copy the audio recordings to a memory card, or computer, to backup the files.
