why my song of memory card or mass memory do not play through music player, all song show in player but not play. But when i play them from file maneger it works. Plz give me solution, my hsndset is nokia-500. Buy it two days ago.

Hey Uttamkumar! Welcome to the Nokia Forums.

You may have to refresh the music library. Go to the Music player main view and select Options > Refresh library.

Or remove your library, re-add it and refresh your library again. 

Also what method are you using to upload the music onto your device?

Whenever I used to go on my nokia music player it always shows that updating library but it never complete it always shows that no music files found

Hi all, I face the same problem with my new Nokia 500 like uttamkumar once:

The issue is, that I can use the music player normal if I copy my music to the phone internal memory (mass memory) to the music folder.

But if I instert my SD card and want to listen to my music stored there, I get an error message in music player:

"Unable to play selection. Operation cancelled."

I tried to refresh the music library, to delete my SD card and add my music again, without success.

Now practically I can just use the internal phone memory, but there is less than 1 Gig free. My SD card is useless. I can listen to all the music if I go to the folder, but I can just manually skip if I go back and I don't want to get my phone in every 4 mins out of pocket, unlock, skip and so on.... And cannot create playlists as well.

Please let me know if you have a solution for this, otherwise I'll send back the phone to the store and buy from another vendor.
