Hi chettykulkarni,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum.
You probably used another Nokia phone before the Lumia and need to have the subscription transferred to the Lumia as you can only use it on one device at a time. Please contact the Nokia Care Line for further assistance on this.

Hi Brtto
Welcome to Nokia Forum!
Can you provide more details? Are you referring to Nokia Music Unlimited subscription? Are you having issues with downloading songs or redownloading previously downloaded songs? any error message and what are doing when you have received this error message?

Hello, after using the music identifier feature of bing search (on my Lumia 920) a dialogue box popped up that said "Did you know you can stream live music to your phone using xbox music?" and prompted me to click for more info, asking me to accept privacy terms.
The album for the song I was seeking via bing search was found and Nokia Music automatically launched as usual. HOWEVER when I played a sample track, instead of showing the album cover it showed the brightgreen xbox games logo and below the square it said " loading xbox music pass " with a progress indicator bar. Then, strangely, there was no option to buy the music through Nokia Music Store (I am familiar with Nokia Music and where this should be). There were only two buttons, one looked like a round loop/refresh and there was one other round button. I pressed them. The backgound went black. I figured out later that just by accepting xbox terms and conditons (which I did not read because it was over 16 pages) it replaced the default music player that launches when you click on a song identified by bing music identifier.
The album thumbs were missing (were just a grey square) . I stopped everything and relaunched Nokia Music.
Now, if I go to Nokia Music things look okay, but here is no record of the music I just sampled, so I have no idea what the name of the artist is I just searched for.
I closed out of everything and did a test (another bing music auto-identification ), it identified the song artist and album, and shows a store button, it is the XBOX MUSIC STORE, NOT THE NOKIA MUSIC STORE and the song appears to be playing in the xbox Music App. Annoying becuase it is hard to close this app fast as it does not show in the open apps window. I then launched Nokia music while the song was playing on xbox app, and Nokia Music showed the song as in play, but the thumbnail album cover was just a grey square.
Help me, I would like to get rid of xbox music, as it is interferning with my ability to naturally use and launch Nokia Music and also interfering with my ability to easily purchase music via Nokia Music store.
Thank you, please advise !!!. I will unsubscribe from xbox service and will reinstall the nokia music app if necessary. I just need some guidance on what to do and in what order to get things back to normal.
FYI I think this is worthy of escalation to corporate as I did not opt to or authorize xbox to be my default music player
